Evaluating performance on many small datasets with h5py and HDF5 - Aleksandar Jelenak on Call the Doctor 11/18
Aleksandar Jelenak will be hosting Call the Doctor on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He plans on going over some very recent performance results using the latest h5py and HDF5 library versions for reading a lot of small datasets from about 100 HDF5 files in AWS S3. One goal of this study is to gauge the impact of opening the files on the overall performance.
