The HDF5 Safety, Security, and Privacy (SSP) Survey — Update

In today’s episode of Call the Doctor, The HDF Group’s Gerd Heber will recap our HDF5 SSP survey and give an update on the responses we’ve received so far, what stood out, and what surprised us. This is also timely, as we begin the series of HDF5 SSP Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings on Thursday, March 5, 2026. (Join us!) Initially, the SIG’s work will be informed by and prioritized based on the survey results, and I encourage every stakeholder to respond. Gerd will end with a few preliminary conclusions.
