I think the VOL plugin is a really neat concept that can be used to accomplish very interesting tasks.
Is there a list gathering all those scientific efforts in one place?
I know there is a list of registered connectors but is there any list for VOL plugins that are developed, e.g. by small research groups?
Typically I stumble across a VOL plugin by accident when looking for other things on github. Often, it would have been great to know that it existed somewhere.
So, just having a list with links to the source would be very helpful already
