scale-offset filter and special float values - NaN, Infinity

Hello- does anyone know how (or if) the scale-offset filter works with special float values? I would like to use it with float data that includes NaN readings and the documentation doesn't describe the behavior.

Hi Jim,

I am afraid there is no provision to deal with the special float values in the scale+offset filter. We will need to investigate. For your reference, I entered an issue HDFFV-9053 to our JIRA tracking system.
