make check error hdf5-1.8.11 Linux Redhat Enterprise 6.4

Hi ,
I am getting following error during building hdf-1.8.11. I am using GCC
4.8.1 and building on 64 bit linux redhat enterprise 6.4. Help please.

I configured hdf5 using this command

./configure --enable-parallel --prefix=/home/ChittibabuP/local

make check

Testing hard normalized long double -> signed char conversions

This problem should be addressed in HDF5 1.8.12 coming on November 15. Link to the release candidate available for testing will be posted in a day or two. Stay tuned.
