HDFView display order

Hello,

I created an HDF5 file and I'm using HDFView to look at its contents.

At the top level I create, in this order, groups "A", "C", and "B".

However, when I open HDFView, these groups are always listed in alphabetical
order. Is there a way to display them in the order in which they were
originally created in the HDF5 file?

I've tried

Tools -> User Options -> Display Indexing Options

Indexing Type: By Creation Order

Indexing Order: Increments

But nothing seems to make a difference.

Thanks.

Arthur,

You need to make sure that the creation order property was turned on when the group was created.
