HDFView 2.4 and four dimension HDF5 NASA data

Good morning,

I have been using the h5dump utility to examine the NASA Aura satellite
data. I noticed that there are many developers who have contributed to this
tool. Thank you all very much. I especially like the XML output option.

When I use THG HDFVIEW 2.4 to view NASA Aura data that have four dimensions,
it appears much of the data is missing. The viewer only shows the last
three dimensions; so, if a dataset has {nCandidate, nLevels, Xdim, Ydim}
then only the {nLevels, Xdim, Ydim} data shows in the HDFVIEW panes.

Is this a User error on my part or is there some way I can expand the viewer
to see all the data?

Thank you,

John Huddleston, PhD

John,

I believe that if you use “Open As” on the dataset you can select the
three dimensions which the TableViewer module displays.

Thank you Dan, that did it. I always wondered how that “Open As” operated. It just needed another dimension. John
