hdf5 viewer to view h5part file

hi, all

I wonder if anyone know that can hdf5 viewer fully support h5part file
view? I got a sample.h5part, and want to use hdf5viewer to look at the
content of this file, but initially, hdf5 viewer complains about the file
format, and after that, i change sample.h5part to sample.h5 in order to get
file format validation pass. and it does. the content of this sample.h5part
is displayed in hdf5 viewer. but i can not verify all the content displayed
is consistent with the sample.h5part file itself. I have concern that is
there possible that some content of the file is missing in hdf5viewer for
some reason.

that's why i am asking does hdf5viewer fully support h5part?

BTW, there is 'register file format' under tool menu, the sample of that
illustrates how to add NetCDF file, is that possible we can register
h5part file format without changing the file suffix.

  thanks

Hi Xiaocheng,

if your file is an HDF5 file, you do not need to register the the file format.
You can add file extensions to HDFView under Tools->User Options->File extension.
