For those who are interested in using OPeNDAP to access HDF5 data. We just
have a major update for the HDF5 OPeNDAP handler. This release mainly
enhance the access of NASA HDF5 and HDF-EOS5 products via the support of CF

OPeNDAP and THG are pleased to announce a major upgrade for the HDF5
handler for Hyrax. The upgrade includes support for more of the HDF5 data
model and much better support for the CF conventions. The enhanced CF
support will greatly improve interoperability with those clients that
understand CF. You can read more about the upgrade on our webs site (
opendap.org) and download the RPM (CentOS 6) or source from the Hyrax 1.8
