HDF5 2.0.0 compatibility with h5py, pytables and netcdf

With the advent of HDF5 2.0.0, how do I figure out if it is compatible with h5py 3.8.0, pytables 3.8.0, and netcdf 1.6.2?

File compatibility is guaranteed by design, as long as 2.0 advanced features are not written into the file.

For code compatibility, I expect that each of the upstream packages has an individual discussion of HDF5 2.0 compatibility. If anyone has more specific knowledge, please feel free to add.
