I’m one of the maintainer of HighFive (the one-more C++ bindings from EPFL) and I always look at “what’s new” or “what I don’t know yet”.
I find H5DScatter / H5DGather in the documentation but I’m not sure how it should be use or what it will do.
Is it possible to have an example?

Although it’s no substitute for a good user example, you could look in the regression test suite for how routines are used. (In test/dsets.c, in this case)
