h5check complains on valid file

Hi,

we are using h5check to verify the structure of the files that we
are producing (we have occasional problems that we try to fix).
For one particular file h5check complains about being unable to
read a node:

% h5check /tmp/f.h5

VALIDATING /tmp/f.h5 according to library version 1.8.0

***Error***
Symbol table node:Unable to read in the node at addr 965595
***End of Error messages***
Non-compliance errors found

After some experimenting I'm almost sure that the file itself
is OK and h5check may be confused. Would it be possible to
verify this separately? I could send a file to anybody willing
to look at it, is rather small, around 1MB.

h5check that we use must be the latest version:

% h5check -V
h5check: Version H5Check Version 2.0 Release 1, August, 2011

Thanks,
Andy

Andrei,

Could you please send the file to help@hdfgroup.org? We will take a look.

Thank you!

Elena
