I the following message in the forum:

I downloaded h5diff tool and deployed on sles11 I tried to compare two h5 files and I got the errors you can see below. Does anyone know why I receive this huge quantity of errors? Thanks in advance

Victor,

  Was the dataset a type of string? We recently fixed an issue with string data and h5diff. The problem was that h5diff did not check string length, the strpad type or for nulls before comparision. I believe this error was received when there was no null character in one string.
