any success with split vfd using core/sec2

Hi All,

Quick survey to see if anyone has ever successfully used the split vfd
in combination with core vfd for metadata and sec2 for raw data?

I've adjusted my application to do that and it is failing in bizarre
ways. I ran it through valgrind to see if any obvious memory errors
could be the cause but valgrind reported no errors. And, when I switch
to sec2 for metadata part of split vfd, everything works fine.

Hi All,

Sorry for so much email.

Well, I was certain I was using hdf5-1.8.4. But, upon closer inspection,
I was linked with 1.8.1. When I switch to 1.8.4, this problem goes away.

So, I can answer my own question now and say 'yes', someone has had
success using split vfd with core for meta and sec2 for raw. Works
great!
