Has anyone tried anything to attach a thumbnail preview to an HDF5 file so
that the file browser will show the thumbnail? (On *nix systems.) The
thumbnail image could be stored in the user-block or some hidden file or
directory... I've searched around the internet and doing this in RHEL5 seems
highly non-trivial. i was wondering if anyone on this list has ever tried to
do this with any success.
