The HDF5-1.10.6 release is now available for download from:

This release contains several important new features and changes, including:
- Improvements were made to the CMake support:
- Support was added for VS 2019 on Windows (with CMake 3.15).
- Support was added for MinGW using a toolchain file on Linux (C only).
- The S3 and HDFS Virtual File Drivers (VFDs) were added.
- Support was added for macOS versions 10.13.6 (Darwin 17.7.0) and 10.14.6 (Darwin 18.7.0).
- Performance was improved when creating a large number of small datasets.
- Numerous bugs were fixed.

Windows 7 Support
Please be aware that we will be dropping support for Windows 7 at the end of this year. It will be dropped for all HDF products in 2020.
