missing libraraies libmfhdf.a and libdf.a

Hai,

One of the application I am using needs hdf.

The application needs libmfhdf.a and libdf.a to be linked during
compilation.
I am not able to find these libraries after installing hdf5.

I have listed the conten of the hdf5/lib folder below,

[ae04d008@vega hdf5-1.6.10]$ ls hdf5/lib/
libhdf5.a libhdf5_hl.so libhdf5.la libhdf5.so.0
libhdf5_hl.a libhdf5_hl.so.0 libhdf5.settings libhdf5.so.0.0.0
libhdf5_hl.la libhdf5_hl.so.0.0.0 libhdf5.so

Hi Balaji,

You’ll need to build the HDF4 library (http://www.hdfgroup.org/products/hdf4/) to produce libmfhdf.a and libdf.a.
