gridding of HDF swath data

Has anybody of you been dealing with the issue of gridding (MODIS) hdf swath data?

Any function for that purpose in matlab?

Our scientist has successfully developed Matlab procedures for MODIS data.

What instruments and datasets are you analyzing?
