false positive leaks from HDF5 under totalview

Hi All,

Anyone know of situations where HDF5-1.8.4 can show frequent tiny leaks
down in the bowels of H5FL_reg_malloc (allocations left on the heap in
totalview terminology) under totalview but which valgrind never shows as
leaks?

I have memory leaks detected with valgrind on a certain machine (linux cluster, redhat) while those memory leaks do not appear
on other machines (cray) . Do you think it might be related to you problem ?
