Is it possible to combine the MULTI and FAMILY file drivers. We have to regularly push changed data across a network connection, so we've separated data into a file family to cut down on the total number of bytes which are sent for each replication. Is it possible to combine with the MULTI family driver to put all meta data into a first file so that we don't have to send the raw data that shares the data with the meta data together in the first file?

Hi David,
Is it possible to combine the MULTI and FAMILY file drivers. We have to regularly push changed data across a network connection, so we’ve separated data into a file family to cut down on the total number of bytes which are sent for each replication. Is it possible to combine with the MULTI family driver to put all meta data into a first file so that we don’t have to send the raw data that shares the data with the meta data together in the first file?
This should be possible, but we don't test that condition currently (we have an issue in our Jira tracker to implement one though). If you try it, please let us know whether you succeed or fail.
